Occupational Therapist
Božica Francić is an occupational therapist who graduated in Occupational Therapy from the University of Applied Health Sciences in Zagreb, where she also completed her studies in Physiotherapy. She continued her professional development at Jönköping University in Sweden, with the aim of further expanding her knowledge and applying contemporary therapeutic approaches in paediatric rehabilitation.
In her therapeutic work with children, she embraces a holistic and individualized approach, viewing each child within the context of their family, environment, and daily activities. She places particular emphasis on development through play, fostering independence, and improving functional skills essential for everyday life. She considers the creation of a safe and supportive environment, as well as close collaboration with parents and the multidisciplinary team, to be a fundamental part of the therapeutic process.
She continuously advances her professional expertise and applies evidence-based therapeutic methods. She has received additional training in feeding therapy, fine motor development, and functional skills in children through the following educational programs:

• Grasping and Manipulation Skills in Children with Developmental Difficulties
• Cognitive Orientation to Daily Occupational Performance (CO-OP)
In her clinical practice, she most frequently works with children who present with sensorimotor developmental delays, difficulties in fine motor development, grasping and object manipulation skills, challenges in performing daily activities, and feeding difficulties.
